Lack of basic resources for students. Nepotism, bullying and corruption at every level of management. HR bent the rules when convenient to hire their friend/relative.

Lack of other local options

Cons

Lack of respect, poor pay (on low end of national scale in a high COL area) students are not given mental health support or adequate preparation for even remedial classes but faculty is pressured to pass everyone to improve outcomes. Very anti-union. Lots of talk of DEI but I've heard multiple people in admin making casually racist, sexist, and homophobic comments.
