Pros
It provided a continual pay check until another position was found. Insurance. This position taught me to assess other jobs for more than salary and name prominence. People outside of the GRC department were good people to work with. Good benefits.
Cons
GRC Management Bullying. Management has no idea what Governance Risk or Compliance is. Nor can it grow the organization. ***It's in the red to be cut if it cant hire a slew of bodies because turnover has remained so high***. Moral is shameful. No opportunities for growth although there are a /plethora/ of empty seats in the group. Micromanagement that is stressful under a particular manager. Very unapproachable and repelled people as many of us gravitated away.
