The people were very nice. I spent time in China and that was a great experience.

I felt within the first week that my job could go away at any moment as I saw talented people let go or laid off with little regard for US business practice. I also saw this in China. The employees are not regraded as assets but consumables. As an engineer be prepared to be frustrated as innovation is not accepted and you are expected to just copy competitors. They lack validation and expect the customer to find the faults and then the will react to that.
