Generally good - Director Sarepta Therapeutics Employee Review

Poor communication, focus on managing up instead of managing direct reports, lack of process strength, absence of development by people managers (HR and Learning & Development try to make up for this). Goals were due in early February and some of us still don’t have our department goals from our leadership at the end of April. I have been here 7 months and my manager hasn’t given me one informal or formal review. This tells you how little they care about development. Also, in an HR and Learning & Development training they said that first year employees won’t get the best performance rating. I understand there is a ramp up with company specifics but as a new employee with many years of industry experience I’m delivering so I don’t and catching things that have been missed by more tenured colleagues. So no I don’t expect a you are new so you are average rating.
