Our various company-sponsored activity groups and sports teams are intended to help employees get to know one another, and our collaborative office environment is specifically designed to make colleagues more accessible and teamwork more convenient. However, examples you have described, such as showing up late for work, taking extended lunch breaks, and making personal calls as those around you are trying to complete their work, are all issues that can have a direct, negative impact on the work environment. Ultimately though, performance is the primary gauge our supervisors use to enforce these types of workplace issues.
