Pros

Customer base, field sales team, and vendors are some of the best relationships I have built within the medical community. It is about the only reason I have stuck around this long.

Cons

- Leadership seems disconnected from the day to day business - Leadership constantly talking about improvements and new tools that are coming to help improve productivity. We have been hearing this nearly since I started here over almost 6 years ago. - Lack of development or ability to progress in your development - Clear favoritism to certain people within the department by leadership within the product teams - Issues with sales leadership that has caused others to leave or be pushed out within the organization. I guess some people can get away with HR violation and still keep their jobs. - New leaders who recently came in don't even have a healthcare background. Yes new perspectives can be good but they don't seem to be taking the time to truly learn the industry or dynamics.

Cons

Like many large organizations, processes can sometimes be complex. Communication between departments can occasionally be inconsistent, and priorities may shift as business needs evolve. Career advancement opportunities can vary by team and location, requiring employees to be proactive in seeking development and new challenges.

Pros

Good Retirement Match, Great Co-workers, Great customers in a rewarding market. Great opportunity to experience the dark side of corporate sales, so that you can fully appreciate the great job in your future. The bond and networking among former employees is second to none. Former employees are helping each other daily and it is amazing to experience.

Cons

A very rapid shift from a rewarding customer focused approach, to what has become purely a corporate profit driven model. Account Manager are pushed to sell without regard for ethics or morals. The quest to make more money is all consuming across the management group. Their private label "Curaplex" brand has several substandard product offerings wrought with quality issues. Although many Account Managers have reported issues with this product line, the Leadership continues to downplay, mask, and outright cover the problems. This private label brand carries the highest profit margins across the entire product offering, so it's pretty easy to see their motivation to push these products, regardless of quality. They actually pay the Sales Staff extra commission to sell it, a tool to further discourage the reporting of issues and concerns. The turnover remains high, even with solid pay. Numerous employees continue to search for a way out, only bound to them by a very challenging job market.
