Pros
The best thing about working at SavATree is the people I work with. I am able to share my ideas freely and be part of the solutions. My manager has my best interests in mind and acts as a mentor and guide. The company has adopted the Lean philosophy which is “Change for the good,” continuous improvement. This means that a cross section of employees across the company come together and are hands-on in identifying opportunities to help the company. My department has a morning huddle, which brings us together to discuss any barriers, obstacles, and successes. At this time, we can look to each other for any experiences or insight to help solve any obstacle we may have. I am able to learn from not only my manager but other executives within our organization. Each of their doors are always open to bounce ideas off of and gain as much insight as I want. I am kept up to speed with company monthly financials as well as all department updates during our Monthly Meeting.
Cons
with company monthly financials as well as all department updates during our Monthly Meeting. The challenges here are that I am always kept on my toes and pushed outside my comfort zone. Ultimately, I know this will aid in my development but has been a bit of a challenge to assimilate into this culture. The company is growing so rapidly and is sometimes a challenge to keep up with the changing; but I love this!
