Pros

-Salary Managers well-payed -Decent schedule/workload -Good discounts -New stores look great. -Great selection. Partnerships with non-profits do help the community. *A lot of people thing that the store just gets free donations, and overcharges the public for them. Savers weighs all of its donations, and pays a price per pound to their local non-profit partners. So sure, while they're getting a lot of donations for pennies on the dollar, they are still paying a local charity for every donation. Furthermore, they have high overhead, rent, etc, so I don't support the common misconception that Savers is "getting free stuff and ripping people off."

Cons

Hourly employees not well-paid, especially for the strict quotas employees have to meet. Employees elsewhere might get paid the same but have a much easier job description. Employees range from good to downright dregs of society, and often the store gets trashed. Lots of turn over Upper management often has this picture of "ideal" methods that don't always work in practice. Prices are starting to get a little high. Could use modern POS equipment..get with the 21st century!

Pros

It's a Job I guess

Cons

The pay is just over minimum wage. There is no work life balance they don't offer holiday pay and require you to work on all holidays except for Christmas and Thanksgiving. They constantly add new thing to the job and will never give you a pay raise or advancement. All around bad company that's taking advantage of working class Americans.
