Pros
The entire pod workforce is effectively defunct on the west coast thanks to COVID, but I guess this is for anyone considering being an ADS in other places that are even still allowing it. -Good if you're an independent worker. You're basically alone for 8 hours, organizing stuff. Leads/managers were cool about helping when they had the time, but you're mostly unsupervised. Can be a mixed blessing.
Cons
-There are nice quiet days, and there are days where everyone decides to dump everything on you at once. -A fair amount of physical work. -The pod is outdoors, so you'll likely deal with bad weather. Heaters, fans, and umbrellas are provided, thankfully. -Be prepared to clean big messes of people tearing stuff out of the donation bin next to the pods at night, every morning. -Clientele can sometimes be less than friendly, but hey, what can you do.
