Pros
Opportunities for advancement are great. There seems to be a lot of promotion within the company. The entry-level pay is above average for large retailers. 50% employee discount is nice. Bonus opportunities every quarter, and paid holidays. The only company I know of that offers paid vacation and sick time to Part-time employees. Management is always available to listen to you, and help you learn. Regular customers know you by name.
Cons
They expect you to work and give a full 100%. The pace of work can be very demanding. Some days can be very stressful, if you let them. There's something of a "fly by the seat of your pants" environment. Merchandise has to be on the sales-floor for 2 days before employees can buy it. And like any retail, there's always some challenging customers and coworkers.
