Pros
Consistent quarterly financial shortfalls have led to repeated drops in the stock price!
Cons
I'm disappointed to share my experience at Savers. Despite offering constructive feedback and suggestions to improve processes, my input was consistently overlooked. Additionally, I was unfairly placed on a performance plan, even though my performance metrics exceeded those of my primary counterpart. The team I was part of was chronically understaffed, despite repeated requests for additional resources. Meanwhile, other departments received regular new hires. The company culture is characterized by a lack of transparency, with no formal announcements regarding employee departures. The constant influx of irrelevant and distracting workplace chat further hinders productivity. High turnover rates, particularly at the store level, have led to inconsistent performance and a significant training gap. Many store employees lack basic computer skills, making it challenging to provide effective support. Furthermore, there's a clear bias in addressing employee concerns. While individual contributors are held to high standards, management seems to favor certain team members, often ignoring their shortcomings. It's disheartening to work in an environment where constructive criticism is not valued and employee well-being is not prioritized.
