Pros
- Projects are interesting, you can find stuff you were working on in various countries - it makes you feel like you contribute to something meaningful - Not to many challenges ( it's pro only for those who don't like to be challenged ) - Once you got the job, it's secure, S&B usually keep all staff members, you must do something really bad to get fired - Most of the people in the company are nice and friendly - It's surviving for more than 150 years and that's something!
Cons
- Very poor and not targeted benefits ( just some random ones ) - Salaries are fairly set, what is obviously unfair - not all employees at same position should have same salary ( some works harder than others ) - Salaries are not as good a in other companies - For many years S&B struggled with technologies, now it's getting better but the way of thinking stayed in the past - Company is too rigid - There is no will for perfection - Processes are set but usually nobody follows them
