We appreciate you taking the time to write a review. We are happy you’re having a good experience with our benefits and some of the perks we offer here. As for work/life balance, we try to provide avenues between PTO, our company time off, holiday jump-starts, and summer Fridays so that you can feel more refreshed to take on the fast pace of our high-performance environment. We also just announced nearly 60 promotions across the business, something we’re very proud of and excited about, and we hope you understand that we take our employees and their success very seriously. As for consistency across the organization, it would be helpful to understand specifically what you’re addressing. If you feel comfortable, you should reach out to our feedback handle that’s read by our executive team at feedback@schellman.com. We also have an open door with our People Experience Team – they’re always happy to help find ways to improve how Schellman employees align with the firm’s goals.

Pros

Management frequently improves benefits. Management really knows the business well. The company has historically been well insulated from economic downturns. So many opportunities to stand out and make a name for yourself

Cons

Data driven decisions still a work in progress. Long term vision is likely 1 ish year.

Pros

You get a lot of responsibility pretty early on, which gives you great experience and helps you develop your professional skills quickly. There are also annual company trips, and the benefits are pretty decent overall.

Cons

The pay has fallen behind what competitors are offering. There also seems to be a disconnect between how many projects the company takes on and how many people are actually available to complete the work, which can lead to heavy workloads and staffing issues.
