We’re so excited to hear that you see the great opportunities available at Schellman! We work hard to create competency-based growth tracks for employees and maintain best-in-class practices to ensure we retain great talent. Employees like you are a big part of the process in driving a great workplace culture, too. We understand that the work is demanding and things move fast. We try and balance the hard work with opportunities to find work-life balance with our PTO policy and our company time off. We even added sick days in 2025 to give our employees time to mentally recharge. We hope you’re taking advantage of that! If there’s other ideas that you have to help us meet those challenges, feel free to drop a note to our leadership team at feedback@schellman.com.

Pros

Management frequently improves benefits. Management really knows the business well. The company has historically been well insulated from economic downturns. So many opportunities to stand out and make a name for yourself

Cons

Data driven decisions still a work in progress. Long term vision is likely 1 ish year.

Pros

You get a lot of responsibility pretty early on, which gives you great experience and helps you develop your professional skills quickly. There are also annual company trips, and the benefits are pretty decent overall.

Cons

The pay has fallen behind what competitors are offering. There also seems to be a disconnect between how many projects the company takes on and how many people are actually available to complete the work, which can lead to heavy workloads and staffing issues.
