Pros

No pros, job needs work specifically the management department and human resources department.

Cons

Do not work for Havertys dedicated account. The leader does not care for you they will treat you like a number that’s it. Management has no communication or a sense of safety when it comes to driving. They will throw work on you with no communication or notice and expect you to complete your assignment.

Pros

Dedicated local account, driver leaders are nice, equipment is decent.

Cons

$12/hr on duty, not driving pay. That’s ridiculous and includes everything except driving. Work can be inconsistent at times, hours can be long, no holiday or mileage bonus pay for a long time after hire, benefits are expensive. Schneider won’t allow drivers to use Bluetooth or any other hands-free device, INCLUDING HEARING AIDS, to receive calls while driving. This makes having a life outside of work and scheduling appointments almost impossible.
