      Pros

      Good for beginners to gain extensive knowledge and experience on Tankers. You also get your foot in tanking.

      Cons

      Pay rate is appalling and miles fluctuate. Management is hypersensitive to safety and any minor issue turns into warnings, coaching and a step closer to termination. Existential threat of termination is highly stressful.

      Pros

      Dedicated local account, driver leaders are nice, equipment is decent.

      Cons

      $12/hr on duty, not driving pay. That’s ridiculous and includes everything except driving. Work can be inconsistent at times, hours can be long, no holiday or mileage bonus pay for a long time after hire, benefits are expensive. Schneider won’t allow drivers to use Bluetooth or any other hands-free device, INCLUDING HEARING AIDS, to receive calls while driving. This makes having a life outside of work and scheduling appointments almost impossible.
