Pros

Guaranteed work, M-F with weekends off Drive overnight (not a pro to some) Got to visit some iconic breweries in Oregon and Washington Heavy haul quad axle trailers, all new (more of an FYI than anything) Their trucks are 2016 automatics You could potentially make more than the daycab drivers on the account

Cons

You will work the full 14 hour clock. Work volume fluctuates with demand, particularly around major holidays and sporting events The mini-sleeper in those trucks... My back still hurts. If you want to be home every day, demand a day cab. Otherwise, forget about being home M-F They were misers about pay and bonuses, although they will try to convince you otherwise

Pros

Dedicated local account, driver leaders are nice, equipment is decent.

Cons

$12/hr on duty, not driving pay. That’s ridiculous and includes everything except driving. Work can be inconsistent at times, hours can be long, no holiday or mileage bonus pay for a long time after hire, benefits are expensive. Schneider won’t allow drivers to use Bluetooth or any other hands-free device, INCLUDING HEARING AIDS, to receive calls while driving. This makes having a life outside of work and scheduling appointments almost impossible.
