The last day feels great

Cons

This place is a complete boiler room. They recruit colleges heavily because they don't know any better. DO NOT TAKE THIS JOB unless you like mindlessly cold-calling people for 10 hours a day, selling something that is no different than the competition. There's a reason why your interview went so well with such little effort: They want warm bodies and LOTS of them to keep those phones buzzing.

Pros

Dedicated local account, driver leaders are nice, equipment is decent.

Cons

$12/hr on duty, not driving pay. That’s ridiculous and includes everything except driving. Work can be inconsistent at times, hours can be long, no holiday or mileage bonus pay for a long time after hire, benefits are expensive. Schneider won’t allow drivers to use Bluetooth or any other hands-free device, INCLUDING HEARING AIDS, to receive calls while driving. This makes having a life outside of work and scheduling appointments almost impossible.
