      Canadian drivers be warned - OTR Schneider Employee Review

      Pros

      Decent benefits and facilities driver dont load.

      Cons

      Trucks capped at 63mph one of the slowest in North America. Micro management the trucks are filled with sensors if you dont drive it exactly the way they want you to, they'll have a talk with you. Only pay you 38 cpm for new canadian drivers, no pay for border crossing, no pay for customers who take hours to get your load. Comparable to minimum wage pay by the end of the month for a lot more work.

      We're sorry you didn't enjoy your experience with us. We evaluate driver pay on a weekly basis, have mad many pay upgrades in the past couple of years, and will make more when it makes sense. The safety tech in trucks is to help make sure our drivers are safe on the road. We appreciate your feedback.

      Pros

      Excellent Training till you're on the road.

      Cons

      Basically, you are supposed to know it all immediately. Then when you ask a question instead of support you get tossed to the wayside. This is not for someone that cannot be away from family you will likely be out for 3 weeks. For me that was fine till I wasn't.
