Pros
You learn a lot about the transportation business working for the largest privately owned U.S. truck carrier, if you're looking for growth and opportunity, this company has so many divisions and positions for someone of almost any expertise or major. They invest in their employees and the training you receive in management positions. There are a variety of field office locations so if you want a change of scenery, they often work with you in finding a good fit if it exists in your expertise
Cons
long hours, senior management typically promoted within and sometimes not the best person for the position, during holiday season and times with high volume of freight, it feels like there is too much for one person to do in one day, it'd be nice if they hired more people to spread the responsibility so there is a better work/life balance
