      Pros

      Advancement opportunities to low or middle management. The people are great. Appears to be making change happen. Cafeteria, workout facility, decent benefits.

      Cons

      Company did not weather the recession as well as other companies in the area. Work life balance does not include the life part. Company has lost the people focus.

      They value safety, equipment is fantastic.

      The work is non-stop and "no" isn't an option.

      Pros

      Dedicated local account, driver leaders are nice, equipment is decent.

      Cons

      $12/hr on duty, not driving pay. That’s ridiculous and includes everything except driving. Work can be inconsistent at times, hours can be long, no holiday or mileage bonus pay for a long time after hire, benefits are expensive. Schneider won’t allow drivers to use Bluetooth or any other hands-free device, INCLUDING HEARING AIDS, to receive calls while driving. This makes having a life outside of work and scheduling appointments almost impossible.
