      Pros

      Independence when you want it. Support from day shift DBL is good. Usually trucks are decent. Home time is good if you have a DBL on your side.

      Cons

      Dealing with hold times and people on second and third shift that have never been in a truck before. You will be gone from family and friends.

      The work is non-stop and "no" isn't an option.

      Pros

      Excellent Training till you're on the road.

      Cons

      Basically, you are supposed to know it all immediately. Then when you ask a question instead of support you get tossed to the wayside. This is not for someone that cannot be away from family you will likely be out for 3 weeks. For me that was fine till I wasn't.
