When your otr you will sit 2-3 days at a time. They try to micro-manage every thing the driver does, it is like a prison. It is kind of a cut throat atmosphere. Some drivers intend on getting other drivers fired just so it'll be one less driver to worry about as far as getting a load. Pay is not what they guaranteed. As a first year driver you'll be lucky to make 20k a year.
