Pros
- Had fantastic teammates across the board on the Education Consultant team. They do a good job of hiring kind and hard-working people.
- For the most part, they do a good job of respecting an 8-hour workday
- Hybrid Schedule (2 days remote per week)
Cons
- Poor leadership: No transparency, a cult-like culture with lots of fake positivity.
- You are doing essentially 5 or 6 different jobs in one (Customer Success / Account Management, Recruiting + Onboarding, Customer Service / Phone Support, Morning and Evening Dispatching, Managing Subs directly, including having negative feedback conversations, Payroll / Timesheet / Compliance management).
- Siloed teams: if you're stuck with a bad / incompetent manager, you're on your own.
- Micromanaging: There is almost no time in the day that isn't accounted for by management. As I left the company, they were beginning to monitor employees on a level that felt ridiculous and infantilizing
