Pros

I've worked for all different kinds of companies on numerous projects, and hands down Scoot has the best culture, people, and mission. My peers are hardworking, dedicated, intelligent, kind, and respectful, not to mention hilarious! Each day I look forward coming into work because of the people I am surrounded by. We are a team of around 15 right now, but we are growing rapidly and I have to say it's due to the people and our attitudes. The values of Scoot are displayed in team meetings and out in schools; external and internal employees demonstrate their alliance to Scoot in all endeavors and it makes me feel honored to be a part of a team that acts in accordance with the mission. We all truly care about the partnership we have to educators and to schools and it shows in our interactions. We praise each other for our efforts and are provided coaching to grow. I have not been in such a healthy and uplifting work environment before. My managers care about my success and are honest and accessible, even if they're headquartered in a different city. I feel comfortable talking to them about my concerns and they celebrate my wins with me. We have a great rapport and I love working for and with them. I feel respected for who I am in and out of the workplace and have grown a great deal since I have started. It's an amazing feeling to be able to call a company home.

Cons

I think our leadership team works hard to ensure that if anyone has a concern, it is addressed with full transparency and action. It is a safe environment to address issues, and they are taken care of immediately.

Pros

- Had fantastic teammates across the board on the Education Consultant team. They do a good job of hiring kind and hard-working people. - For the most part, they do a good job of respecting an 8-hour workday - Hybrid Schedule (2 days remote per week)

Cons

- Poor leadership: No transparency, a cult-like culture with lots of fake positivity. - You are doing essentially 5 or 6 different jobs in one (Customer Success / Account Management, Recruiting + Onboarding, Customer Service / Phone Support, Morning and Evening Dispatching, Managing Subs directly, including having negative feedback conversations, Payroll / Timesheet / Compliance management). - Siloed teams: if you're stuck with a bad / incompetent manager, you're on your own. - Micromanaging: There is almost no time in the day that isn't accounted for by management. As I left the company, they were beginning to monitor employees on a level that felt ridiculous and infantilizing
