Pros

The flexible schedule and ablility to work from home are a plus. It is nice not to have to be stuck behind a desk everyday, although there is desk time needed for reports that are due.

Cons

Too many tasks and projects at one time. Senior management is out of touch with the feild. Too much stress over numbers instead of people. Long hours and having to work on weekends. The job should be about Scouting. It should be about getting youth is a postitive, quality program. Instead it seems to be about numbers to get to a goal.

Pros

Good health benefits via UnitedHealth.

Cons

Micromanage, cannot hold a conversation in office in this department without getting in trouble for talking with colleagues. However they expect you to come in 3 days a week at minimum to encourage team collaboration and team building. Meanwhile people who are paid at least 6 figures walk around the office holding conversations about nothing work related or complaining about local council employees and members-as if they do not realize without these very same people they would not have the big houses and fancy cars they own.
