Pros

Great for a single, go-getter kind of person. It will take a great deal of your time and energy. The values are phenomenal and it is a great program to be a part of. Volunteers will give their heart and soul for the program and for the professional (if they like you).

Cons

Have to spend multiple nights and weekdays out in schools, meetings, and other venues trying to boost funds. They tell you initially one night a week, its not true by any means. If the volunteers and the parents arent happy with upper management they dont give, refuse to give, hate to give, and will ask you not to ask to give. My main goal was to get people to give.

Pros

Good health benefits via UnitedHealth.

Cons

Micromanage, cannot hold a conversation in office in this department without getting in trouble for talking with colleagues. However they expect you to come in 3 days a week at minimum to encourage team collaboration and team building. Meanwhile people who are paid at least 6 figures walk around the office holding conversations about nothing work related or complaining about local council employees and members-as if they do not realize without these very same people they would not have the big houses and fancy cars they own.
