Pros

Scouting is a fantastic program that brings families together and helps youth develop their skills and interest. Executives get good exposure to many different aspects of society and opportunities to develop many skills. Some councils are better than others.

Cons

Complete disregard for work-life balance and executive's personal development. Fraudulent pursuit of goals (especially membership) are often encouraged by management. 60-80 hours per week at very low pay are the norm. Group-think mentality keeps getting the organization in trouble. Lacks innovation.

Pros

Good health benefits via UnitedHealth.

Cons

Micromanage, cannot hold a conversation in office in this department without getting in trouble for talking with colleagues. However they expect you to come in 3 days a week at minimum to encourage team collaboration and team building. Meanwhile people who are paid at least 6 figures walk around the office holding conversations about nothing work related or complaining about local council employees and members-as if they do not realize without these very same people they would not have the big houses and fancy cars they own.
