Pros

Flexibility of schedule. The honor of working with great men and women in the community. A standard bearer for the community and nation. Good benefits but getting more expensive every year. Competitive and fair salary. Lots of opportunities for training and personal character building. A great place to network and make a real difference every day.

Cons

Time commitment some weeks is 60+ work hours. Ungrateful and non communicative upper management. Good ole' boy organization. Outdated technology and business practices. Run down camps and work centers. Whiny volunteers and stiff gripped donors. Hard to work in a character building organization in a nation of steeply degrading morals and values.

Pros

Good health benefits via UnitedHealth.

Cons

Micromanage, cannot hold a conversation in office in this department without getting in trouble for talking with colleagues. However they expect you to come in 3 days a week at minimum to encourage team collaboration and team building. Meanwhile people who are paid at least 6 figures walk around the office holding conversations about nothing work related or complaining about local council employees and members-as if they do not realize without these very same people they would not have the big houses and fancy cars they own.
