Pros

Learning medical terms and abbreviations in depth

Cons

This is the worst company anyone can work! The organization as a whole lacks respect and integrity. If you are not of a certain ethnicity, the opportunity of advancing in the company is impossible. Please do yourself a favor and read all reviews on this forum because they are Absolutely true. Working for Scribe America wil be an insult to any legacy you have already built. Do yourself the honor of finding an organization that respects and values you as an employee because Scribe America does not uphold such values. The pay is extremely low for college undergraduates and graduates. If you are in high school, then this may be a place for you. At the same time, I will encourage you to find a suitable job with one of the top grocery establishments who will pay you and acknowledge your time than this sorry excuse of a company. Lastly, a lot of premeds are working for this company under the impression that it will be a plus to their medical school or professional school application. I interviewed at 5 top tier medical schools and none of them were impressed that I am a Medical Scribe. Save yourself the trouble of dealing with an organization where upper management and HR only operate on favoritism.

Pros

I believe there's flexibility in some hours. Paid training.

Cons

My onboarding process has taken over 2 months and I've only clocked in for mandatory trainings with little to no communication from managers or hiring staff. $10 an hour.
