Pros
ScribeAmerica is one of the only scribing companies that hires within for higher up positions in the company. I really like that there are ample opportunities for advancement, which is helpful for learning new skills and creating strong relationships with mid to high level company employees. I also like that ScribeAmerica focuses on gender equality and providing equal opportunities to qualified women. It is refreshing to not work in a totally male-dominated environment.
Cons
ScribeAmerica tends to overwork many of their mid-level employees without sufficient pay. Compensation is low for the amount of work that many managers perform, and there is not opportunity for a raise unless one is promoted to a higher position. This is especially difficult if you are living in an expensive city because they pay managers the same amount across the board despite location and living costs. The hourly pay never seems to be enough, so it would be wonderful for ScribeAmerica to offer salaries to their hard working mid-level employees.
