From Great to BAD - Anonymous employee Seagate Technology Employee Review

MANY of the greatest, hard working , innovative, brilliant, dedicated people are GONE. More are leaving every day. The interesting work has been replaced with turmoil Personal growth and cutting edge are things of the past Hope in the company and leadership is lost. The company has "Technology" in its name, but has hardly any IT left, and none that is functioning . Nothing gets done now, because the inexperienced IT replacements in Asia cannot do the work or solve any issues, and the rest of IT is busy shutting down and closing up shop. Morale is REALLY low. People in every area and location I talk to are afraid of the next inevitable layoff - and most are looking for employment elsewhere. Work is piling up and the people are leaving. Probably the area of greatest productivity is the group that updates the org chart and directory, since there are constant deletions.
