Pros
The HDD development requires some of the leading technology, including controls and metrology. There is not a lot of slaps on the back but you can extend your knowledge greatly. Overall, Seagate employs some of the brightest engineers in the world across all fields.
Cons
Large company that provides the latest technology in a commodity market. That market happens to be computer hardware, one of the worst. This industry is not expanding headcount, just revenue and profits.
