Pros
The culture is such that the management listens to the subordinates and ensures that most of its business activities adheres to its mantra, the "Seagate Way". Seagate also offers constant upgrading of skills and its HR handles their duties efficiently (E.g. pay comes on time, grievances are taken into considerations and medical claims are easily processed)
Cons
In my honest opinion, chances of moving up the corporate ladder would be difficult as everyone wants to stay in Seagate hence, no one ever budges. Maybe occasionally depending on the department. Also, it is common for large organizations to have internal job transfers but again depending on your department, your manager who might not want you to leave would not even consider your transfer application!
