This company does push the envelope of technology and implement new ideas very quickly. Exposure to many different Engineering disciplines is common and to be expected. Holiday count and vacation time are very good benefits for new hires. Our facility offers on-site restaurant and gym equipment and with instructors. Insurance overeager is normal.
Cons
The hours are long if you are working a issue that is hot ( frequently ) and need solutions yesterday. Currently, in 2014 and last year the management went to a flat cost model for R&D expenditures with no yearly cost-of-living increase. Instead they will give you a yearly bonus which may of may not ( typically ) cover the actual cost-of-living. They are going away from Preferred Physician Provider (PPP) and going to a high deductible insurance model.
