Pros
Lots of very good, helpful people to work with. Many people work very hard to do the right thing. For the most part it is very employee friendly and understanding.
Cons
The middle management seems to give lip service to the goals and priorities set by top management. There is a tendency to do a lot of work to make procedures and processes that will improve conditions in some way and then fall back on old ways of doing things when it gets a little difficult to change. It seems like the people that champion change end up on the sidelines. The company went through a large RIF last year. Lost a lot of good talent. Long hours for those left.
