Labor - Anonymous employee Securis Employee Review

Company makes bad decisions and has for years. It's a revolving door of overnight "bright ideas" with little to no thought, thus resulting in employees taking pay cuts and benefit cuts or even worse, being laid off. Half the staff was let go do to these cuts in 2016 to keep the company afloat (even though the owner has plenty of money to make ends meet) and some were really good people who spent years sacrificing for the company. The management of the sales staff for years has been subpar. The one factor of a business that gains more business needs to be dealt with. Hiring salesman and paying an enormous salary along with bonuses and having little to no supervision or repercussions doesn't necessarily help companies. Management rules by fear and if there was a real HR department some employees would feel better about going to work everyday. Not to mention the corners that get cut when it comes to OSHA regulations along with other certifications held by Securis. But those will be the fault of a single employee for not "following orders" and not that of the management that's put in charge of maintaining. All these reviews were definitely written by management in light of poor reviews posted, as they have padded reviews also on Yelp in the past.
