Leadership, toxic culture, no real strategy. There are really so many things wrong with this company it’s hard to know where to start. It’s a real shame because the market opportunity and potential for success are huge. I think the executive staff is the major problem, mostly the CEO. Good majority are inexperienced, making emotional decisions, have a reputation of being hot headed and are just not genuinely nice, approachable people. This causes the wrong people to be hired and the culture to continuously suffer. I have never seen a revolving door like this one, at a company. It’s mind blowing they don’t do more to solve the problem. It is incredibly expensive to hire people and lose them months later. It’s clear at this point, they don’t care or don’t have a clear understanding of their problems. I’ve been in meetings with multiple leaders that were downright abusive. Any solid person would not put up with that, so therefore all the A players leave. When they do, the employees left pay the price because many things are done in silos and there are not mature processes. There are not goals within the different organizations. Leaders do not plan cross-functionally. Because there is no clear strategy, everything becomes a priority. This leaves employees overworked and never feeling the sense of over achievement. Leaders get a lot of pressure from the executive team and do not shelter their teams from it. Instead it trickles right down and becomes everyone’s problem. This is not effective and leads to a very unhappy employee base. I could go on and on and on. Hopefully they figure things out. Great product and a lot of potential.
