Pros

The benefits seem to be very good and Sedgwick pays for more than half of the medical. Most Team Leads are great.

Cons

Caseloads are not manageable. People always quitting and their caseloads are dumped on everyone else already struggling to stay afloat. Team Leads have to handle claims. Unable to feasibly manage diaries and claims. Work everything reactively instead of proactively since the clients are so demanding. Management runs “numbers” but contradict what they go off of when your “numbers” of one thing are too high. Highly underpaid for market value in the area. Allow clients to change service instructions constantly. No work life balance. Most people work during their PTO because it’s a mess to come back to. Everyone is so overworked that you are constantly stressed about this job.

Pros

I have only stayed this long for the insurance.

Cons

Its a terrible company to work for and in order to grow at the company, you have to step all over your coworkers to prove loyalty to the company. If you're hated by everyone, then you are exactly what they are looking for. Someone with no remorse. They put so much stress and pressure on you and expect you to put that same stress and pressure down on your leaders, and because you don't want to be a terrible person, you will just stay on the computer for over 12 hours a day to complete the work yourself. The management has become increasingly worse, maybe they are just miserable people, or maybe they thrive off the sick power trip. Its sad to see how terrible they can be to their employees and get rewarded for it. I hate my job and am praying for something better.
