Pros

Flexible to work from home.

Cons

The company talks about Diversity and Inclusion but the Org chart say otherwise. Like most companies fortune 100, 500 companies the CEO’s, Department Heads, and a majority of upper management all look the same. They just can’t see it because it’s a norm to them. We can’t make change if we are stuck in our ways. Sedgwick you have to do better. We are not going to see change if you don’t recognize that upper management looks the same. At the next board meeting look around the table and let us know who are you seeing. I could tell you what I’m seeing in my meetings in our meetings, no person of color. I have been at this company for a very long time and it has never a person of color in this department. The only people that are put into a position of Leadership are the “YES” men. Majority of those YES men doesn’t understand how to lead, aren’t a people person, and or have a bad personalities. It’s 2023 and people of color are just as smart, you just have to attempt to see it and be true to your company’s slogan. Diversity and Inclusion isn’t just for hiring practices, it’s also for placing minorities in leadership roles as well. We aren’t talking about being a TL, we are talking about at the head of the table in Memphis.

Pros

I have only stayed this long for the insurance.

Cons

Its a terrible company to work for and in order to grow at the company, you have to step all over your coworkers to prove loyalty to the company. If you're hated by everyone, then you are exactly what they are looking for. Someone with no remorse. They put so much stress and pressure on you and expect you to put that same stress and pressure down on your leaders, and because you don't want to be a terrible person, you will just stay on the computer for over 12 hours a day to complete the work yourself. The management has become increasingly worse, maybe they are just miserable people, or maybe they thrive off the sick power trip. Its sad to see how terrible they can be to their employees and get rewarded for it. I hate my job and am praying for something better.
