Pros
A strong growing company spreading it's footprint up and down the East coast, Segra is making its mark, and I am excited to be a part of it. Although the company is growing, I still feel that Segra values their employees and makes a tremendous effort to show this. They give employees a way to voice their opinions with weekly surveys, they host different company get together at several locations (such as company picnics or social hours at nearby restaurants), they provide leadership training programs to employees, have a wonderful social media based recognition program where leaders and peers can recognize one another for a job well done, and a few times a year will distribute "surprise treats" throughout the company. This can consist of a gift card or an experience such as amusement park tickets! I highly enjoy working for a growing company that still values their employees. The culture at Segra is truly one of a kind.
Cons
With change comes uncertainty. As Segra continues to grow and change from the way the two former legacy companies that made up Segra operated, it can create an uneasy feeling. However, I think our leadership has the best intentions for the company and trust that they are making the right decisions.
