Pros

Good compliance team. Relatively reasonable productivity requirements (83-85%).

Cons

High pressure to unethically pick up patients ; no support from management; poor benefits; no annual reviews/raises; no paid holidays; 3 weeks PTO only possible if you work 40 hours a week, 52 weeks a year as you do not accrue PTO when you are off; ever-increasing paperwork demands and filing/clerical requirements with no decrease in productivity requirements. Select buildings tend to be tough, low-SES buildings. Select is relatively new to my area and the word is out. They are now frequently hiring brand-new grads and looking into speech CFs as more experienced therapists do not wish to work for them.

Pros

Got to work in various setting within Christian Health Care community, mainly for their ALF and home care settings, but also had to cover their subacute facility from time to time. Opportunity for diverse settings.

Cons

Not a lot of room for growth after 2.5 years of being there. Asked for a raise, they made me wait months to get less less than the bare minimum.
