Pros

If you are looking for a job as a Director or Manager you will get very big bonuses coming off of the skin of vulnerable Medicare recipients, and wide eyed young therapists . You have an opportunity to make it really big here.

Cons

If you are a therapist and see "New Grads Welcome" on their advertisements start running. At best they are unethical. At worst they are abusive. The building I was at had a culture of threatening their therapists every time they did not comply with the hand book. The hand book states that you have 2 days to grieve the loss of a mother. The hand book states that if an emergency comes up like your car broke down, you will need to give a month notice. Anything that did not comply to the hand book, would be used as a threat to terminate you. I was in the ER about to undergo emergency surgery and was threatened for not having G codes complete. When I was at home for 6 weeks recovering from major surgery under doctors orders, they called me every few weeks to ask me if I could come in. They resorted back to their threatening ways and said that "we have to have a talk" when I get back. It turns out when I got back that my G codes were not complete while I was getting the surgery. If a patient was leaving the building on a stretcher, they would ask you to chase your patients out with a stretcher in order to get your minutes. Not getting your minutes for any reason was against the rules of the hand book. A naive fresh-out-of school therapist may not be able to tell that this behavior is in fact abusive. Its not you. Its them.
