Not impressed - Therapist Select Rehabilitation Employee Review

Pros

My team and my commitment to my residents are the main reasons I am still with this company.

Cons

Next to zero autonomy with patient care. Group therapy is REQUIRED. Even if you don’t think it’s in the patients’ best interest. Only allowed 30 min sessions and at least 10 min of that is documentation. To get an 8 hour day I need to see 16 patients— more if it’s a day where I have to run a group. Since our contract was taken over by select our therapy reviews have declined. Patients are unhappy with the limited amount of time we get with them and patients who have been repeat customers have noticed and commented that they won’t come back. Over half of our department has left. I love my team but as the unrealistic demands of this company increase or morale is waning. We have not had any raises or bonuses since signing on and promises that were made to us at sign on did not happen.

Pros

Training is good for regular employees. Pay is great. Typical productivity standards for SNF, Assistants are expected to be at 90%. No company match for 401k, but PRN employees are allowed to put in so that is nice.

Cons

Manager training is lacking, especially if it's your first time as a DOR in SNF.
