Pros

The pay is quite good, especially if you work nights or weekends. There is a shift differential for nights and weekends. I also am receiving a sign on bonus paid in installments. Most of the staff and management are very pleasant to work with. The facility is in good condition and we generally have enough equipment that is in working order.

Cons

Sometimes we don't have enough rovers to go around to scan the medication which has been an ongoing issue. Some of the chairs are too tall and are not ergonomic, which can be uncomfortable. One of the med rooms temperature is in the 50s, so if you are sensitive to cold, be forewarned. Their staff turnover is somewhat high and has been an ongoing issue. One of their day shift supervisors is fake cheerful and enjoys finding little things to write you up for.

Pros

Training is good for regular employees. Pay is great. Typical productivity standards for SNF, Assistants are expected to be at 90%. No company match for 401k, but PRN employees are allowed to put in so that is nice.

Cons

Manager training is lacking, especially if it's your first time as a DOR in SNF.
