Pros
High paying job for this area. Schedule allows for a good bit of time off and there is opportunity for overtime if you want the extra money. The plant is thirty years old but the company has been updatng equipment at a steady pace.
Cons
Not many of the management staff have any hands on plant experience and tend to manage from a distance. The end result is a lot of miscommunication with overreaction on some issues and no attention to others. Also,as with most other heavy industry, government overregulation has caused way too much of the employee's and the company's time to be wasted with compliance issues.
