Pros

Great benefits. Hobby benefit (books in my case) is great.

Cons

Processes are a mess. People tend to say 1-2 years here and there is a lot of legacy code some Russian developers wrote, but documentation is bad. If you have little kids this is not the best place to be. You will.have to fight some managers and PMs not to have meetings in the middle of the time you need to pick up your kids or give them lunch. Since people spends so little time, the company is run by HR. I never had so many meetings with HR in my life.

Dear Colleague, Thank you for your review. You’re spot on—our team members are our biggest asset, and we really value each and every one of them. Regarding our processes, it’s understandable that they may not suit everyone’s preferences. We all have different needs and perspectives. As for our working hours, they are part of our official policy concerning mandatory attendance times. During these periods, we schedule meetings and expect timely responses to emails/messages. This expectation is communicated clearly to all new team members from the outset. However, we are open to discussing and accommodating individual circumstances whenever possible. Once again, thank you for your feedback. Yours, the Semrush Team

Pros

Very thorough onboarding and enablement process. Great culture and people. Excellent company & team communication.

Cons

There's a lot to learn, which isn't a con - but something good to know.

Pros

The product is an industry leader, making it exciting to work on. The teams are filled with incredibly smart, creative, and collaborative people. Benefits and remote flexibility are solid, and there are good opportunities to learn SEO and digital marketing deeply.

Cons

The work culture can occasionally lean toward working harder than playing hard especially as the company scales.
