Pros

Clients were very sweet and helpful when receiving care.

Cons

Communication was terrible clients also disclosed that with the HR. They would put people on the schedule without asking me or if I was available for the shift. Management would pick or choose who they like. The management team was didn’t like a worker if they didn’t didn’t work full time. It was weird to see a management company like this especially with caregiving. They would take off people on my schedule without explaining why. They always lied to the client or their employees about the schedule changes. There was many issues with this company. It worked out for a while but after if the management team decides that they don’t like you, you will have no hours.

Pros

Get to meet wonderful people. Get to see into peoples lives, and treasure getting to know them. Ask questions, get to hear about how they got to where they are, what their philosophies are, their life stories, their advice. The opportunity for connection is limitless.

Cons

Dementia! I learned to love working with dementia patients but be warned if it's your first job with them. Don't take what they say personally. I wish someone had told me that before my first position. It's not about you. It's about them. Second! Beeoches. There are so many old ladies you're going to run into who are BEEOCHES. Don't be afraid to tell the bossman that I'm sorry, this isn't a good fit. I was too afraid to say something and ended up staying with a little old lady who was H-E-DOUBLE HOCKEY STICKS to work with for two years. Former CEO of a company. Beeoch! Stand up for yourself. If you don't know how, this job will teach you. You'll learn a lot about yourself if you don't know yourself very well!
