Where to start? Night aides are now required to do nearly all of the cleaning. Former duties of housekeeping staff have now been pushed onto the night aides for both AL & MS. Night aides do all the mopping, sweeping, dusting, guest bathroom cleaning, etc. Housekeeping staff only tidies up resident's rooms and that's about it. Night aides do all the laundry. Are many residents on AL& MS that are skilled level and have no business being at Wexford. The residents there are not getting regular re-assessments. There are many residents on their AL side that have memory problems and need to get transferred to MS but dont. Staff of all shifts are exhausted. Most of the work aside from cooking the food are put onto the aides (day, night and evening.) The day and evening aides serve the food. There are no servers to help the aides. the aides clean off the tables after meals. They also give showers for 80-something residents. That combined with doing residents laundry and toileting and ADL assistance leaves the aides exhausted. Unlike newer more up to date AL/MS places, Wexford
