Pros

Resident focus, they hire compassionate staff, quality facility.

Cons

Pay too low for housekeeping, food and tech staff. They strongly "encouraged" their employees to raise funds for Alzheimer's Association, an organization whose president and chief executive Harry Johns, recently earned over $2 million in compensation! REALLY? A founder of Senior Star, Robert Thomas, has served on this nonprofit's Board of Directors and as their treasurer. Listen more to and get to know your employees.

We are sorry you feel the way you do and we would like to discuss your concerns with you so please call us at 918-592-4400 and ask for Mickie in HR or Jessica in Sales; we truly want to connect with you. This year, several communities have earned sales bonuses, in fact, we've paid out over $330,000.00 in bonuses thus far in 2018. And yes, we are on a solid path to raise $600,000 for ALZ with the intent to help find a cure...provide hope for those affected and also help support our Nation as a whole, for ALZ has both a financial crippling on our economy and health system, not to mention what this horrible disease does to individuals that have the disease, as well as their caregivers and families. Together, united, we believe we are making a positive difference. We hope we can talk with you soon

Pros

Great people to work with. Made a lot of great friends and honestly why I worked there so long.

Cons

Pay jumped during covid, which made a lot of us realize how little we were all getting paid. The 20 dollars an hour was before I left. At the time I was working there I could have walked across the street and gotten a job at target and gotten paid more stocking shelves, working less hours, and less work, than what I was making cooking for 10 years at the same location, but I was young stupid and didn't know my worth. I still have friends that work there and believe it has gotten better.
